Ginger, Turmeric and Bromelain is a unique synergistic formula combining three remarkable botanical ingredients in one handy tablet!
With a long history of use, spanning thousands of years, most of us are very familiar with Ginger when used in food preparation. This aromatic spice has been extensively researched and studies indicate the presence of over 100 active components including Gingerols and Shogaols.
Turmeric is an equally popular spice and has been the subject of much research in recent years. The active component in Turmeric is Curcumin, which is responsible for the spice’s distinctive yellow colour.
Due to the anti-inflammatory and warming effects of Ginger and Turmeric, they are typically used in the Indian Ayurvedic system of medicine for pain and inflammation due to injury, wear and tear and strains. The warming effect improves circulation, ensuring that nutrients for the healing process are efficiently delivered.
Bromelain is the name given to a group of enzymes found within pineapple juice and pineapple stems. These enzymes are reputed for their ability to digest proteins and include a mixture of various compounds including phosphatase, glucosidase, peroxidase, cellulase and several protease inhibitors. Bromelain has both digestive and anti-inflammatory benefits.
