Vitamin D3 1000iu (Vegan)

13.25

Package: 60 Tablets

Fifteen years ago, it was not thought that Vitamin D supplements were necessary as your body can produce Vitamin D itself when your skin is exposed to sunlight. Vitamin D can also be absorbed from foods such as liver, oily fish, and mushrooms. However, in recent years, it has become clear that many people do not get enough sunlight on their skin to maintain healthy Vitamin D levels. There are many reasons for this, including the amount of time spent indoors, and the use of SPF or sunblock.

Vitamin D plays many roles in the body. It is most well-known for its part in supporting healthy bones and the absorption of calcium. Vitamin D also supports healthy teeth and normal muscle function, as well as playing a part in supporting a healthy immune system. This is why Public Health England advises that people in the UK consider a daily food supplement providing 10 micrograms of Vitamin D to support healthy bones teeth and muscles.

Natures Aid Vegan Vitamin D3 has been carefully formulated by experts to provide 1000iu of Vitamin D3 in each tablet. Many Vitamin D products are sourced from lanolin (sheep wool), which is not suitable for vegans. However, this lichen-sourced Vitamin D3 is vegan-friendly.
