D-mannose is a simple sugar which naturally occurs in the body. It is commonly found in many fruits and vegetables including cranberries, apples, peaches, cabbages and broccoli.
D-mannose is mainly used for preventing urinary tract infections and works by preventing certain kinds of bacteria from sticking to the walls of the urinary tract and causing infection.
Taking D-Mannose in tablet form obviously provides a much higher dose than would be naturally found in food, or in cranberry supplements. For this reason, D-Mannose has gained a lot of popularity as a food supplement.

D-Mannose, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Dicalcium Phosphate Dihydrate, Anticaking Agents (Colloidal Silicon Dioxide, Vegetable Source Magnesium Stearate). FREE FROM: GMO, artificial colours, artificial flavours, corn, dairy, lactose, gluten, wheat, yeast, nuts, salt, soya and starch
Initial dose: Take 1-3 tablets every 3 hours. Maintenance dose: After 3 days reduce to 1-3 tablets twice a day. Do not exceed the recommended intake. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. Cautions: If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking any prescription medication or have a medical condition, consult your healthcare professional before taking this product. Although D-Mannose should not affect blood sugar levels, as it is a simple sugar, diabetics should be careful when using the product.
