MCT oil is believed to be metabolised more easily by the body than standard coconut oil, due to the removal of long-chain fatty acids. MCT oils are rapidly absorbed and are thought to provide a useful energy source.

Natures Aid MCT oil provides a convenient and concentrated source of medium-chain triglycerides (MCT) sourced exclusively from coconut via fractionation. Medium-chain triglycerides can be broken down quickly and are therefore considered a useful energy source.
It is thought that because MCTs can be turned into energy efficiently, it is less likely that the body will store them as fat. The fractionation process used in production uses steam distillation, and no chemicals, leaving behind an undamaged intact oil that provides your body with 100% MCT.
