Food Detective® is an ELISA-based test that can be carried out by a qualified healthcare practitioner. It identifies elevated IgG antibody levels in 59 commonly eaten foods.
These antibodies can lead to a build-up of immune complexes in the body which provoke an inflammatory response and can manifest in a range of symptoms.
The results of a Food Detective® test are then used to guide an elimination diet. By identifying foods that trigger an elevated IgG antibody response, Food Detective® helps in pinpointing what foods might be provoking symptoms and should be eliminated for a short period.
