- Exfoliation thanks to the combination of Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid, and the anti-inflammatory Capryloyl Salicylic Acid, which ensures smooth, radiant, and hydrated skin, with a strong skin barrier.
How do they work?
- Glycolic Acid (belonging to a-hydroxy acids – ΑΗΑ’s) dissolves the bonds of the accumulated dead cells of the superficial layer, paving the way for new and healthy cells. Due to what the exfoliation achieves, the pores do not clog, so black spots are not created from excess sebum.
- Salicylic Acid and Capryloyl Salicylic Acid (belonging to b-hydroxy acids – BΗΑ’s) as oil-soluble ingredients, penetrate deeper into the skin. They relieve pores from any excess sebum and allow the glycolic acid to penetrate deeper into the skin.
- Balancing of moisture levels is achieved thanks to Niacinamide – a water-soluble form of the vitamin – and a bio-polysaccharide that – as moisturizing agents- block water, thus creating a film on the skin, soothing irritations, and preventing dehydration.

It also balances the microbiome and boosts skin moisture levels, covering all the needs of those with oily or acne-prone skin.
Since oily acne-prone skin has excess sebum, not water, so it may easily become dehydrated, we made sure to avoid harsh cleansing agents that “dry” it out and create a vicious cycle of sebum over-secretion, while adding hydrating agents to balance the epidermis barrier.

- Control of acne breakouts, thanks to the anti-bacterial Polysaccharide Complex (with Rhamnose, Glucose, and Glucuronic Acid), which prevents the adhesion of undesirable and/or pathogenic bacteria on the skin surface, creating a protective biofilm.
- More specifically, it protects the skin from the adhesion of Propionibacterium acnes, Staphylococcus aureus, and Staphylococcus epidermidis.
- Combined with the bio-technological, anti-bacterial complex Undecylenoyl Glycine (consisting of Endecylenic Acid and Glycine), they cleanse and at the same time protect the skin barrier from dehydration, maintain skin microbiota equilibrium, by restoring the acid mantle’s flora, while regulating sebum secretion.
- Soothing is attained by the Polysaccharide Complex and the Sage Extract, resulting in immediate relief in the skin.
- Hydration comes from the natural moisturizing ingredient Betaine and the Amino Acid Arginine that protect the skin from dehydration, thus balancing the epidermis humidity levels.
- Additionally, the amino acid Arginine, enhances the production of NMF components, such as urea and proline, helping to maintain hydration.
