Our body contains roughly 4g of Iron, with more than half of this housed within haemoglobin, an essential, oxygen-carrying component of your red blood cells. In addition to playing an essential role in the formation of red blood cells, Iron is also responsible for normal cognitive function, and normal energy-yielding metabolism and helps to reduce tiredness and fatigue.
Natures Aid Iron is formulated using the Bisglycinate form of the mineral, which is more absorbable, and gentle on the stomach.
Folic acid and Vitamin B12 are also included in this formula due to their importance in the formation of normal red blood cells. It also contains Vitamin C as this essential vitamin increases Iron absorption.
